Nachdem die Sommereinführungsrunde vorbei war und ich mein Geld dann doch in einem Urlaub vollständige Verwendung fand, sitze ich nun ohne iPhone 3GS da. Hm, min. 35 € im Monat + 199 € ( aka. 1.004 € über 2 Jahre) bei T-Mobile oder 39 € im Monat + 299 € ( aka. 1.195 € über 2 Jahre) bei Orange statt meinen üblich 10-15 € zu zahlen, scheint mir doch etwas haarsträubend.

Doch diesen Montag die freudige Nachricht, 201 € Jubiläumsbonus bei Orange, wow! Ok, klingt nach viel, aber was bringt es tatsächlich!? Das Geld wird einem – wie üblich – erst sukzessive gutgeschrieben, also 8,38- € pro Monat. Das klingt schon nach etwas weniger. Also ist es Zeit für ein kurzes Update – die neuen Preise für ein iPhone 3GS für die übliche 2 Jahresbindung sind in der folgenden Tabelle zusammengefasst.

Einige Änderungen der Gegebenheiten gegenüber Juni möchte ich hier noch anführen:

• den Tarif Team 15 gibt es nicht mehr
• alle Orangetarife haben weniger EU-Minuten
• das iPhone 3GS ist nicht mehr mir dem T-Mobile Tarif Call Easy kombinierbar
• bei Call Austria und Call Europe wird das iPhone nochmal um 50 € billiger, wenn man es mit einem Web&Walk Zusatzpaket kauft

Sometimes Murphys law strikes everything…

Had my presentation on the laptop and went there only thinking about controlling my excitement and my nervousness,
and then they asked me to copy the presentation to a cd or usb-stick. Nobody had a usb and my cd-drive could handle
the czech disks. Ok, next try: i uploaded the presentation on my server and thought of downloading the whole stuff in the
presentation room.

After almost missing my date of presentation i got the presentation file on the computer the room was equiped with, but the file
was broken. So almost 2 days work was for nothing and i had to do my pres. with handouts.

But the rest was fun and quite interesting. Got to know some nice People, like Zaffar from Wollongong and we had some Czech beer.

Now back in Austria times are quite busy. Actually Julian and me began working on our biggest project for this year and as time is clicking by preasure is rising to fulfill the mid-december deadline. I will post some preview pics in the next days and we would be
glad to get some comments from you.

Heyhoo people!

I know this is something unexpected, but i’ve to post this:

Tomorrow i’m going to karvina to a conference on banking and finance to present a part of my diploma theses.
And i must admit, i’m torn apart between positive excitement and shear panic to meet all those knowing people.
I got long hair (which i may cut tomorrow) and broken sneakers and i don’t feel like belonging to a group
of high academic people. I think i even can’t explain my work i’ve done, ahhhhh!

If you are interested, i post my presentation the next time. My Tutor was really excited about the layout and the
pics. But when i think about my other works, i just think the level to beat is really nothing and i don’t think i’ve
done a good job (mainly addressing the layout now).
But this is for sure the right place to call for nice and sound presentations, and please you managers:

stop doing those shitty wordart-powerpoint-chock-full-of-macro-animations stuff!!!!!!
