adobe gui

Posted in ideas by admin on the December 3rd, 2005

Ok, you’ll know that half the planet had a shock after noticing that adobe and macromedia gonna merge.
And a hell of a lot was written about advantages and disadvantages and which products they gonna skip, and why the hack they wonna merge, etc.

But to take advantage of all the capabilities of the resulting company, i just thought, how about bringing together our beloved
illustrator, the odd fireworks, the worldclass flash and maybe the stunted director and join forces to develope an app for designing
os guis.
flash or something similar shall be trancformed into a gui core of the os, which could be plattform independent, and microsoft, apple & co would pay a serious amount of money for that. since they all speek of the next generation os as having vector-based os to allow
greater screenresolutions and scaleability, they might be quite interested in such a product.
the next benefit would be that flash in websites would run natively on every os and hopefully much faster!
and the developer app – either included in products like visual studio or not – would be the other product to attract customers.
And there would be no more problems regarding the gui while transfering my program to another os, yeehaa!

I just get caught be the dream of starting some illustrator-like app, designing my interfaces, moving to visual studio and applying my code and not messing around with dull-looking buttons and listboxes from some strange linux gui or windows xp.
Or sending my gui design the next software company like a pdf or ai file and they have no problem incorporating it into their new app.

how about that?
or am I a just a mentally retarded ape and you ceo’s of apple, adobe and microsoft are already playing with your next-gen. os 3d super-wooper-designed os, where buttons and windows are beautiful as the interior of aston martin db9?

yours, mip
